After working as a school counselor, I made the decision to go back to school to obtain the credits needed to get my LPC and practice therapy. In July 2021, I began working as a licensed therapist for a private practice. It was there that I discovered my passion for therapy and decided that I eventually wanted to start my own practice. When the private practice where I was working closed, I had 11 out of 13 clients decide to join me in my independent endeavor. I knew then that the time was right to take the leap and open my own practice.
These experiences helped me develop a holistic perspective. I am keenly aware that when clients leave the session, they may face relational and systemic challenges which make implementing changes difficult. I consider myself an eclectic therapist, drawing from various therapy modalities depending on the client and their individual experiences and perspectives. My background has allowed me to feel comfortable working intimately with clients, creating an approachable, non-judgmental environment filled with cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Let’s work through those damaging, repetitive thoughts and negative behavior patterns you’ve outgrown and step into an improved relationship with yourself and others, regardless of your past circumstances. Don’t hold yourself back from experiencing a richer and fuller life filled with deeper meaning and self-compassion. You won’t find a revolving door of clients here—I treat every client with compassion, taking the time to connect with each person based on their individual needs and personality.
I have a high client retention rate: 13/15 clients have been seeing me for a full year.
I am the first person in my family to obtain any kind of higher education.
I’m a Philadelphia native who loves traveling and being in nature.
I absolutely adore my dog.
